Configuring User360 Offboarding Templates:  

A comprehensive guide to setting up an offboarding template: 

  1. Navigate to “Configurations”: Access the “Configurations” tab for user actions in User360. 
  2. Create Process Templates: Start a new template, selecting “Deactivate or Freeze User” as the primary action.
  1. Provide Template Details: Specify a unique name and the “Process Owner” if needed. 
  1. Deactivate or Freeze User: The first step involves selecting the user and the action to be performed.

NOTE: Depending on your company’s policies or requirements, you can opt to keep the “Action” field editable and then save the step. 

  1. Remove Permission Sets: Add a step to remove permission sets, selecting users and sets/groups. 

NOTE: You can select Permission Sets/Groups to remove or you can choose to keep it Editable to modify later while creating the request.  

  1. Remove from Public Group/Queue: Specify details to remove users from groups or queues.
  1. Create Additional Steps: Customize the template by adding steps for specific offboarding requirements.
  2. Set Conditions (If needed): Add conditions to steps based on specific criteria or requirements.
  3. Review and Validate:  Before activation, review and validate the template to ensure accuracy. Finalize by activating the template for practical use.
