JCI currently uses the following applications to manage their daily operations:

  • Salesforce – To handle the CRM and sales processes
  • ServiceMax – To manage the field service operations

JCI might undertake service orders from customers who have not purchased their products, which mostly includes small scale/non-professional entities. There was no effective system in place to handle this process.

The professional services for SMEs don’t require continuous and long-term engagements. The Labor & Material (L&M) application developed by Softsquare serves this purpose.

L&M application helps Johnson Controls to handle short-term servicing engagements and labor outsourcing with customers. Contractual obligations that are not fulfilled by the contract in PSCms are handled in L&M.

By computing the labor and material estimates, the L&M application generates a quotation that can be shared with the customer for one time engagement.
